Jasper is 3 years old and weighs around 60lbs, pure muscle! Jasper's no stranger to shelter life. Even with his previous owners, he was an escape artist and would find himself in "puppy jail." He was owner surrendered because he kept escaping from his chain. Jasper didn't want to live on a chain. He long for a comfy bed or couch to relax next to his family on. He now lives with us but still longs for true companionship and a family. Jasper loves to go on walks. He runs well on a leash next to you. He is the perfect jogging buddy. Jasper is high energy and needs a partner that helps him release that energy in a positive way like running and hiking (maybe even skateboarding!). He calms down nicely in a crate and loves frozen peanut butter Kongs! Jasper also greets you with this crazy noise.. it's hilarious and endearing. We love this silly boy. Jasper would love to enter a family as the only animal. He does fine walking side by side with other dogs and even engages in play at times.
